Overall a good read. Having said this, it’s not a surprise that I loved this book as well. Once again, Mario Puzo did not disappoint!! Other books in the series. To my surprise I feel immense contempt for reading a supposedly praised book of Puzo because I actually find it extremely disappointing. The best things I found about this book is that the situations of transformation of “lad Turi” to “bandit Turi” are still relevant. InThe Sicilian was adapted into a filmdirected by Michael Cimino and starring Christopher Lambert as Salvatore Guiliano, however, owing to copyright issues, the characters of Michael Corleone and Clemenza were not marioo in this movie adaptation.
